And everyone got really good fish. Skipper Hamish and deckhand Tisha were very professional and new exactly what they were doing. I wanted to catch a good kingfish and exactly that happend!

Screaming Reels is a 40 ft sport fishing boat providing game charters as well as Kingfish, Snapper and Cruising charters.

Pick any boat and charter and you will be guided by our committed and passionate crew out on the waters.

The locations

Bay of Islands is one of the best areas for fishing in New Zealand and the world. Zane Grey put in early 1900 the Bay of Islands on the world fishing map. We have the full range from fishing close in the bay, Kingfish, Snappers, Trevally, and many other species, to the deep sea fishing for Marlin, Tuna, Hapuku.
The Bay of Islands is also the birthplace for the nation and has the history very visable and open to our visitors! Just ask us!
There are are plenty of great dining spots to bring your filleted catch to and they will cook it for you. Nice local wines too!

EQUIPMENT from screaming reels

The fish tackle shop Screaming Reels provides the charter boat with new equipment for testing and evaluation. There is always some new fishing equipment on board for trial.
